Stitch by Stitch. Built to Last.
Embroidery is one of the best ways to give your logo a clean, professional, long-lasting finish. Instead of printing ink on top of the garment, embroidery stitches your design directly into the fabric — creating texture, depth, and durability that works especially well for business apparel and uniforms.
If you want your team to look sharp in front of customers, clients, students, or event guests, embroidered apparel is a strong choice. It holds its shape through regular washing and gives your brand a more polished look than a basic print.
- Business polos, employee uniforms, and hats
- Jackets, quarter-zips, fleece, and workwear
- School and team apparel
- Bags, totes, and branded merchandise

When Should You Choose Embroidery?
Embroidery is often the right choice when the apparel needs to feel elevated, durable, and professional. It is especially popular for businesses, schools, teams, and organizations that want a consistent logo across polos, hats, jackets, or staff apparel.
- ✓A professional look for customer-facing staff
- ✓A durable logo on polos, hats, or jackets
- ✓Branded apparel for employees or volunteers
- ✓Uniforms that feel more polished than a printed shirt
- ✓Apparel that can be reordered as your team grows
- ✓A clean left-chest logo or hat design
- ✓Corporate gifts, staff apparel, or branded merchandise

Hats, Polos, Jackets & Workwear
Embroidery works well across a wide range of apparel. Here are two of the most common categories we produce for businesses, teams, and organizations.
Custom Embroidered Hats
Hats are one of the most popular items for embroidery because they are visible, practical, and easy to wear. Embroidered hats work well for businesses, teams, schools, events, construction crews, service companies, restaurants, clubs, and branded giveaways.
- ✓Structured and unstructured hats
- ✓Trucker hats and snapbacks
- ✓Beanies
- ✓Staff and team hats
- ✓Event hats
- ✓Branded retail-style caps
Embroidery on hats requires the right artwork setup and placement. Our digitizing process makes sure your logo is prepared correctly.
Embroidered Polos, Jackets & Workwear
Embroidery is a strong fit for apparel that needs to look professional beyond one event or one season. Polos, jackets, quarter-zips, fleece, and workwear all benefit from a stitched logo because the finished product feels more polished and long-lasting.
- ✓Polos for office, sales, hospitality, and school staff
- ✓Jackets for crews, coaches, volunteers, and outdoor teams
- ✓Quarter-zips for business casual apparel
- ✓Fleece and pullovers for cooler weather
- ✓Workwear for service businesses, trades, and field staff
- ✓Bags and totes for staff gifts and branded merchandise

How the Embroidery Process Works
Ordering embroidered apparel is straightforward. Here is what to expect from your first message to your finished order.
Tell us what you need
Send your logo, apparel ideas, quantity, deadline, and where you want the embroidery placed. Common placements include left chest, hat front, sleeve, bag front, or jacket chest.
We review the artwork and apparel
We confirm whether embroidery is the right fit for your logo, garment type, and use case. If needed, we clean up the artwork and prepare it for digitizing at no extra charge.
You review the proof
Before production begins, you receive a proof through the customer portal. Your proof shows the design, placement, colors, garment details, sizes, and quantities.
We produce your order
Once the proof is approved, your order moves into production. Most custom apparel orders are completed within 10–14 days after proof approval, depending on garment availability, order size, and season.
Pickup, delivery, or shipping
Orders can be picked up at our shop in Winterset, Iowa. Delivery or shipping may also be available depending on the order size, location, and project details.
Artwork, Digitizing & Service Info
Here is what to know before starting your embroidery order — from artwork and file requirements to service area and common questions.
Embroidery Digitizing
Digitizing is the process of turning your logo or artwork into a stitch-ready file that our embroidery equipment can read. A good embroidery file controls stitch direction, density, thread changes, and detail so the finished logo looks clean on the selected garment.
JCA includes professional digitizing as part of your order — no separate file preparation is required on your end.
Artwork & Files
You do not need a print-ready file to place an order. Vector files are preferred — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. High-resolution PNG or JPG files may also work.
If you do not have the right file type, send us the best version you have and we will help determine the next step.
